In short: Nice intro to the 1/2 mara course, v organised but pricey for 10k In full: Great support from sidelines, other runners and v cheerful stewards. Warm-up was about right. Good venue for smooth start/finish organisation. Was surprised at lack of build-up to starting countdown. Enjoyed course - good prep for 1/2 mara. Nice medal. Agree about Goody bag lack of snack but plenty of drinks before/after/during.
Overall, a really enjoyable bank holiday. Date of review: May 5, 2008
In short: Excellent Well Done Bristol a race to be proud of. In full: Good organisation well thought out. Bristol be proud. The entrance fee was acceptable when you think about all the organisation and the cost of ammenities provided for the runners on the day. As it was Bristol First would have like the medal itsself to have indicated this rather then the neck strap. Hoping to do it again all being well next year. Date of review: May 5, 2008
In short: Well organised, well marshalled, well routed. In full: Good organisation. Lessons have been learned in Bristol and we can hopefully look forward to a much better run Half Marathon this year Date of review: May 5, 2008
In short: exellent organisation much better than expected ! In full: Good facilities at the runners village area everything seemed to work well, nice happy marshalls and encouragement from the suprisingly small crowds on the route. The "goody bag" well its all been said and the T Shirt is of poor quality considering the £18 entry fee. Overall a good race with a nice atmosphere. Oh and great that runners kept to their coloured starting positions! Date of review: May 5, 2008
