In short: Brilliant (I can say that now I'm warm and dry!)
In full: A real laugh on a Sunday morning. I fell in the Bog of Doom (all captured on video by my husband - thanks!)and spent the remaining 2 or so miles sporting a fetching mud beard - didn't realise quite how bad I looked till people kept staring from cars on the way home! Muddy, wet, cold, sandy and really really hard - where do I sign up for next year?

In short: how much fun can you have on a run?
In full: the answer to that is loads! I've never done anything like this before but I'll definitely be back for more. One thing tat confused me though is that everyone had booked to go on a run that included the 'bog of doom' and get very wet and muddy and then ran round most of the puddles...Made me laugh anlong with everything else on the day

In short: yet again fantastic, the rain leading up to race made it even better
In full: A great race, a great route and the pre race weather just improved the deepness of the bog of dome and other puddles.

In full: Fairly swift track with lots of water but not too much thick filthy clingy mud which is the hallmark of other such events. Most of the pain is in the middle thanks to more than its fair share of steep climbs accompanied but some knee busting, hair raising descents. There's also a playful tour through an adult sized sandpit a mile from the end. Overall a good enjoyable event.
