In short: Good race spoilt by farcical finish.
In full: Never had to queue to get over the finish line before. GOT to be sorted out. Water stop also insufficiently manned. (At least they still had Water ... Manchester) Good marshalls. Towel is an original idea and worth the trip alone (220 mile round trip). BUT GET THE FINISH SORTED.

In short: Nice & quick
In full: Organisers did very well considering the problems with motorway closed. Towels are a much better memento than the usual t-shirt/medal

In short: Lots of parking, towel makes a nice change to another t-shirt!
In full: The large field made life difficult, crossing the finish line and straight into a queue to get out the finish area or to a drink station. However, good to have distance markers at 200/400m to the finish line. Plenty of encouragement from marshalls on the course and overall a well organised event.

In short: At least it wasn't another T-Shirt
In full: I'll agree that the organisation at the end of the race was a little lacking but I suspect that was down to the size of the field.

Will definatly be back next year - this time with a little more training under my shoes.

In short: Fast & Hot
In full: A well organised event with a reasonable mix of urban and rural. Not hilly but not flat either with a couple of short but steep hills (m.way bridges) which were a bit sapping of such a hot day. Only onee niggle, long que to get to water at end with a member of the organising team shouting move on, there was no where to move to. It would have been nice under the circumctances (heat) to have been able to get a drink whilst quing at this point. Thanks to all involved will be back.

In short: Well organised with a pleasantly flat course.
In full: Just need to sort out the queue at the finish. To be fair, quite a lot of finishers dawdled in the queue despite the attempts of the marshalls to hurry them along. Also had to wait for a drink at the water station, cost me AT LEAST three seconds!

In short: average race
In full: Marshalls offered good encouragement, unfortunately no crowd support during run but well supported at finish. Possibly need to lower entry limit for next year or bring in more marshalls

In short: If you can't get the finish area sorted it almost doesn't count as a race.
In full: This has the potential to be a good event. However, the finish area was a complete farce with runners backing up in the funnels to before the finish line. Yes, it's a nice touch getting a spray of flowers and a towel but I'd much rather the finish was sorted. Come on, it's a basic requirement.

In short: In the main well organised with a good memento. Friendly marshals.
In full: The finish area needs a redesign for another year. Have a sponge station at 7kms rather than soap and water.

In short: A good race well organised but the queue at the finish I could have done without.
