In short: Great race, only a few niggles!
In full: I ran this feeling below par and nearly dropped out at the last minute due to illness, but I'm so pleased I didn't. It's a fast, flat course with the marshalls doing a great job. The waved start worked reasonably well, and it was a brilliant atmosphere.

My only niggles were there were people starting near the front of the orange group who were walking within 300 metres! People should be more realistic with their expected times. I couldn't run freely until 1.5 miles because of congestion. Also, please, please, please - more loos next year. Us ladies can't just slip behind a bush and keep their dignity intact. I abandoned waiting eventually and just went to the start. Also, I only saw the mile markers at miles 1, 2, 3, 8 and 9.

Anyway - only minor niggles. A really great day!

In short: Fast, well spaced, well organised, nice finish location.
In full: The wave start means lot's of'leg'room - other events please take note. This is a great course for PB's ( I managed 1:19:05) and the crowd and bands are very friendly.

In short: Good crowd racing, great crowd supporting
In full: Very well organised for such a big event. Fantastic crowds throughout, very loud and supportive all the way around. Wave start a good idea, but a lot of slow runners in Wave 1 - get right to the front at the start if you're looking for a PB. Fast flat course, PB definitely on if you can clear the crowds in hte first two miles. Scenery a bit dull, but HMS Victory looked great in the morning sunshine. How often do we mortals get to actually run alongside names like Tulu and Ramala (albeit they were almost at the finish when I passed the 6 mile marker!)

In short: A very well organised event for such a large field.
In full: Good weather and a well organised event made for a very good day. I was in the first wave and was able to run freely all around the course. As last year, some of the mile markers were a bit misplaced resulting in very erratic split times.

In short: So many positives for an excellent race
In full: The organisation was superb, marking for car parks, how to get to the alloted start points , the baggage drop off.... The warm up chap was brilliant, really got everyone involvled. The course was nice and flat, nice spectators and well marshalled, nice medal..all round a brilliant race...only gripe is, who decided the 'waves', there were people in the white wave walking, surely they should have been at the back of the green, but hey with sooo many other positives it didnt spoilt it for me.

In short: Very well organised race
In full: Enjoyed this race a lot except for the scenery. With the exception of the last 2 miles, one of the dullest courses I have seen.

Were the waves arranged by predicted finishing times ? If so, something wasn't right. I was in Wave 2 and was passing Wave 1 runners by the 4 mile marker, and I'm not that quick !

In short: Superb race, really enjoyed it, atmosphere was fantastic
In full: Shame the showers were'nt working for me by the time I got to them. Apart from that I really enjoyed this run and will definitely do it again next year - nice medal too.

In short: Fantastic race
In full: I have only one complaint which was that i missed most of the mile markers because they were hidden behind spectators. Everything else was perfect from the warm up to the finish. Well done to everyone involved.
