In short: Hard run lots of hills .
In full: Only one moan, the water was in coke cups, and you got more up your nose,(maybe thats a new radical kenyan thing)which is not what you need on a hot day, while starting out on yet another mountain ascent. But well worth the effort. The six eggs at the end was a nice touch, but for the money could we have had free range ?and some some bread?

In short: Great race. the loop between miles 6 and 10 tough but good atmosphere and support and some great countryside.
In full: Really enjoyed the race and until half way point was just (seconds) inside my dream time. Then it all went belly up. But the sun coming out with avengence, the leaders coming back the other way to distract me and the fact I can't run up hills can't be blamed on the organisers, who were superb. Plentiful water and sponges, great marshalling and excellent finish.

In short: My first half Marathon - really enjoyed it if a touch warm!
In full: More hilly than I expected, people did seem to run off quickly only to slow down after 4 or 5 miles and struggle later on. Crow Hill was a delight .... thankfully the spectator with a hose pipe helped cool us down a tad - shame he couldn't have appeared a little more often than once. Friendly runners and spectators, many kids giving high 5's. Very well organised with friendly stewards.

In short: Brilliant - one of the best half marathons
In full: There is a really good vibe to this event. A nice banana, drink, T Shirt and even shower gel. Excellent facilities - I had an excellent massage, A nice hot shower and then a slightly lacklustre but extremely enjoyable pub lunch at the Pheasant Inn. This was my second Mansfield half and I will put it in the diary for next year without a doubt.

In short: Well organised, challenging course on a very warrm day.
In full: A well organised race, friendly marshalls and spectators.
An undulating course which is always challenging.
Only improvement I'd suggest is another drinks station at around 8.5 or 9 miles.
I'll be back next year.

In short: If this is undulating, what is hilly?
In full: Excellent organisation, plenty of water stations but hard work. Will be back next year.

In short: It was a tough run and certainly undulating, it could of been me but there seemed more ups than downs! Possibly due the hot temparature, but plenty of water stations. Not PB half but a good challenging half, for which I received 6 eggs at the end.

In short: Hillier than I imagined it would be and oh so hot!
In full: My first half, but not my last. Insufficient training and over estimating of training runs made this painful, but at the end the joy of finishing made it all worthwhile, even though the oldest man on the route beat me and the chap pushing his friend in the wheelchair - well done to you. I will be back to try and beat my time.
