In short: It bit bland in places, but a definite PB chance!
In full: OK, the airfield sections are a tad boring, but at least they provide some space to spread out a bit compared to the pavements, which were rather congested at times (and as bumpy and uneven as they are anywhere!). All-in-all a good, well-organised race, with a generous goodie bag, on a course that offers a superb chance of a PB (wind permitting...today was perfect!).

In short: Fast, flat, excellently organized, great HQ and parking, outstanding marshals. A good 1st half marathon.

In short: Flat but tough course
In full: Thanks to everyone who organised this event - not easy I am sure. I knocked 2 mins off my pb so am happy with that. Headwind in the airfield made those parts of the course tough as well as dull. Would prefer not to have to run on pavements so maybe closing off more roads is something for the future.

In short: Great value, with superb marshalls and goody bag !!
In full: First time for me running the Gosport Half, not the most scenic of courses. This however is my only negative. The course is quick and flat and ideal for PB setters and those taking on their first half marathon. would I do it again ? YES. The marshalls were great, very supportive to all and helpfull pre-race. The goody bag was great value, not sure how they do it when tsI only £14/£16 to enter !! I will be back again next year for sure.

In short: A flat but not very interesting course. The old course was better. Don't see the need to ban ipods though as most of this race is off road. Excellent and friendly marrshalls.

In short: Flat. Airfield was a bit dull, sea side made up for it.
In full: The switchback nature of the course meant that you could see faster and slower runners for long stretches which is inspiring (regardless of them being in front or behind).
The marshals were excellent, cheering everyone on with good humour.

In short: A great end to the year
In full: Lucky with the weather for a late half marathon. Course is not that inspiring, but I liked running past the HoverSpeed factory, took my mind off the pain! Flat and fast, and very well marshalled. Give it a try, you might like it

In short: Well organised but the dullest 2 hours of my running life - why ban IPods when most of the race is run around a disused airfield where the only 'danger' is stepping on an uneaten jelly bean.
