In short: Excellent
In full: A pb, mars bar and banana, I can't ask for more. Pretty race with enough ups to challenge. Well organised. A tight start and finishing on wet grass the only slight concerns but can't see what else could be done so overall 10 out of 10. Will be back next year. Well done to the organisers. The woman who decided to bend over and tie her shoe laces just after the start with 800 people trying to get into their stride in a narrow lane nearly took out more runners than a hand grenade, not the best of ideas I feel. I must practise leapfrog for next year.

In short: Excellent race, great organisation and scenic course
In full: Really enjoyed this (I think). Only my second 1/2 following Silverstone in March. Organisation was great and the course was extremely scenic, a complete contrast to the London 1/2 marathon on the F1 track. Nice support from the villages en route. Actually enjoyed the hail storm, seemed to spur me on a bit. Will certainly be back next year. Nice that there is something for the family to do on the day in nice surroundings also. Well done to Hinckley A.C. and a big thankyou to all the marshalls.

In short: Well worth the 40 mile drive there (and back again)
In full: Just the right mix of countryside and villages etc. The course wasn't boringly flat, nor too arduous. A really good morning out, but a shame about the weather. I hope to be there next year.

In full: Really well organised race, wicked course with fab views on generally quiet roads. Undulating but totally worth the effort, fab quality Tee-shirt at the end. Marshalls were great full of encouragement so thanks! Will def enter next year - well done Hinckley Running Club.
