In short: Commentary (which was good) was only bit of atmosphere.
In full: Very disappointed.
Seemed very cliquey, some marshalls not paying attention so people went wrong way & also made derogatory comments about pace - which is very demoralising! Barriers replaced before race ended! so turned into hurdles! Thanks very much!! Not exactly beginner friendly or encouraging.
Start was pretty chaotic - had no idea what direction, when etc.

In short: Fantastic Day for It!
In full: The weather and the amusing ongoing commentary made the race for me. Disappointed that it was measured short, I'm not sure how fast I was running now. It would great to know how far it really was.

In short: Great run. Steam rising from the pack looked great in the winter sunshine.

In short: Great fun event in pleasant country park
In full: Really enjoyed this race with it's mix of terrain, (inc. challenging muddy hill). Knocked 6mins of my PB, but measured the "10k" course as only 5.5 miles, (by my S&D monitor, which is usually spot on for accuracy) so was mildly disappointed it seemed to be 0.75 mile short.
That said, still a really enjoyable & fun race which I'd definitely do again.

In short: Never had so much fun running as I did with this one.
In full: Brilliant organisation, great marshalls, excellent taste in music, outragious(ly funny) commentary together with a really fun truly multiterrain course make for a great day out. Can't wait for the next two.

In short: Lovely course over variable terrain through Country Park.
In full: Nice run through the country park, variable terrain on paths, tracks and some muddy grass, but on a frosty winter morning it was all fine. If it had been raining all week it might have been different. Only dissapointing aspect was that the course felt it was measured short - I apparently broke my PB by 2 minutes which just didn't happen. The route was 2 laps of the same 5k course, but was so pleasant and varied this was no drawback. There were no mileage posts and no refreshments, except water at the end. The organisation was great though, and very friendly - with the 3 distance choices and looped circuit, and not too many runners a great race for beginners.
