In short: Good intentions, poor directions especially on the return let this event down
In full: Quite well organised, though no mention that the start was so far from the race HQ.Well stocked and plenty of checkpoints.Poor signage in places,especially on the return had runners going off course.Also no mention of the extremely high car park prices - £8.20 for slower runners !

In short: Good course and well organised race
In full: Excellent race with nice touches like gels and sweets at water stations and hot food at the finish.

In short: friendly, challenging race. Great marshalls but would benefit from a few more
In full: Great run although i wouldnt have said that at mile 22. I enjoyed the different terrains and the associated challenges. especially good was passing runners coming the other way who were very friendly creating a community atmosphere. There were a couple of places where it would have been easy to go the wrong way but only needs minor tweeking. The marshalls were very friendly and im sure everyone would join me in thanking them for their support.
loved the burger at the end, just what i needed.
my only negative comment is i was expecting a t-shirt but didnt receive one,
All in all a good race which with a few adjustments will be a great one, 12 ran from my club and im sure we will all be back next year.. Thank you to the organisers.

In short: Fun but challenging, friendly and very well organised.
In full: Thoroughly enjoyed the race. Very organised and friendly marshals. Everything went like clockwork which was no mean feat given that this was the first year for this race. Really enjoyed the route, with different terrain including road, beach, muddy tracks etc. I liked the there and back route as it meant we knew what to expect on the way back and got to support the other runners in the opposite direction.
We were particularly lucky this year with mild weather on the day. I should imagine it would have been considerably less enjoyable if it had been wet or windy or colder on the day.
Very little to fault the race or the organisation. There was plenty of water (even bottled water) and free fuel gels and jelly babies etc. Very friendly marshals.
One suggestion for next year. It would be great if there could be a few more marshals to direct runners through a few of the more challenging areas of the route. Although turns were marked with arrows, a few of them were not completely visible, particularly towards the end when runners were exhausted, and a few runners lost their way.
Congratulations to the organisers for a very successful race.
