In short: Eeeek, hills that bite back
In full: My first half, very well organised, very friendly, and a great day for it!

Just a warning tho, the hills are that had. Especially the one around mile 9, which did me in!

In short: Hard, hilly work but ultimately worth the effort.
In full: Well done Roberttown Runners for a well organised event. Lovely weather, friendly crowd and well supported along the route. This race is a bit like interval training, you know its going to hurt, but it will be worth it in the end! I thought the downhills might bring some relief but even they turned into quad crunching cavalry charges. Good stuff.

In short: Fantastic views on a blue sky (and warm) day. Very tough though
In full: The 5th mile downhill kind of warned of things to come. Never done a run this tough. Only reason I said I wouldnt do it again is that it 'did for me'. Saying that, great scenery and the marshalls were class, all of 'em. Well done to all involved on an unusually warm February day

In short: Loadsahills!
In full: Changed course since my last trip here and the Hill from Hell has gone but the organisers have managed to find some equally 'challenging' climbs. Especially impressed with the number of marshals. Nice long sleeve t-shirt most welcome at this time of year though not particularly necessary this year due to Spring like weather!

In short: A challenging hilly run
In full: Not much level running in this part of the world! A well organised run along some quite busy roads. The downhill into Brighouse is hard on the legs if you are not used to descents.
Top marks to the oganisers and marshalls for a well organised event.

In short: well worth doing if you like hills
In full: well marshalled, good communications, good local car parking, decent l/s tshirt, good facilities at the comm. centre, plenty of water stations, very challenging course with some very steep 14% downhill sprints, excellent turnout - race full, race announcer personally welcomed us back over the finish line and to top it all a beautiful day made it extra special.

i was told this course was horrid and extremely hard so i kept alot in reserve which paid off

managed 1hr 44mins which im over the moon at - my PB is 1:41 so it wasnt as horrible as i had anticiapted
