In short: Great atmosphere and a good mixture of novices and experts. Whilst waiting in the neverending queue for the ladies was warned about the last hill, but in fact found it less painful than those at the beginning!
In full: Very impressed by by the vegetarian xmas pud at the end

In short: Nice one - many thanks to the encouraging marshalls.
In full: The hills are not that steep but seemed very long to an ageing plodder like me. The country lane and trail bits were the best, despite the mud. The worst bit was queuing for the ladies. The pudding looks good, and even appears to be vegan - an unexpected bonus from a personal point of view!!

In short: A little hilly, muddy, lots of pot holes, great marshals. Great pud.
In full: My first ever 10k. I didn't think the club itself was over friendly; seemed very cliquey. The marshals were friendly though and very encouraging, thanks guys. To someone who comes from a flat area of the country I did find it a bit hilly, although not as bad as I thought it would be. The mud was the killer, and not much fun for me anyway. I will be prepared for it next year. And a word to the organisers. Make sure there are plenty of ladies toilets available at the start next year. Many missed the start because of the queues for the loos.

In short: From road to a school cross country.
In full: Great organisation and support from marshalls. Muddier and more potholed than expected, but finishing gave a warm glow feeling because of it.

In short: Nice little workout
In full: Friendly race - marshalling was excellent and suprised at the amount of support for a cold morning, the course itself is mostly flat (i'm still scarred from Bestwood!).
Very muddy through the park but that's half the fun surely!

In short: Very friendly & well organised but very muddy!
In full: Very enjoyable race, marshalls friendly & helpful and organisation excellent. Very muddy and potholed in places, warning of this beforehand would have been nice but still a great race & pud much appreciated.

In short: Great organisation, nice route, smashing race.
In full: Very well organised race. Some of the route is through residential areas and some through the park. A few hills but nothing too bad. The pud makes a fun change from a medal or tshirt as a memento. The free sports massage at the end was a lovely touch. Just one small niggle - the blurb said "intermittent" water stations but there was only one. Overall I had a really nice race.
