In short: A great off road HM - so much better than the ugly big city races...
In full: One of my all time favourite races. 99% on trail and a challenging but not too bumpy course. Hope the organisers don't try to expand the field - 1200 the absolute limit ?

The shuttle bus system worked well.

In short: a great event - but keep quiet about it or it will fill up too soon
In full: Park and ride worked very well. Only comment is a second anouncement at the back of the field about the delayed start should have been made as I only heard it because I was near the front looking for club mates.
A great cousre, well marshalled and way-marked - I am just wondering why I did Bath half a few years ago instead of this one.

Hope that the guy who collapsed makes a speedy and full recovery

In short: Good 1st half marathon
In full: This was my first time to run with other people as it was great experience. Found the first 2-3 miles quite crowded but after that it was great.
The end was a bit confusing trying to find our way back to the bus pick up and we came away without our goodie bags.
Many many thanks to all the marshalls for their support and water.
We hope the guy who was taken ill at the finish is ok and send our best wishes to him and his family.

In short: More hills that a hilly place on Planet Hill
In full: The good things - the course, the marshalls, the finish, the scenery.

The bad things - the organisation (woeful directions to the start - we don't all have SatNav yet - thank God there was a 15 min delay), the start - much too congested for the first two miles, and the hill - how can any race have more uphill than down and yet start and finish at more or less the same place? I think we need Steven Hawking.

In short: One of my all time favourite races
In full: Having run it for the first time in 2007 I was looking forward to this and was not disappointed. Thank you to all concerned especially the cadets, marshalls and supporters. My only concern last year had been the confused finish area where non runners and runners were not separated. The fencing/funnel addressed that this year so thank you. Bring it on again!

In short: An enjoyable well organised race. Tough weather conditions this year
In full: I always enjoy this race. A good course with a gradually climbing first half. Well marshalled. This year the weather was cold windy and wet and due to parking issues delayed the start. However with the field getting bigger every year there were very few complaints and the race went without a hitch. For such a poor day support from spectators was fantastic. A tight hamstring put paid to a fast time but i'll definately be back next year.

In short: Thank you lovely Marshalls and volunteers!!!
In full: Thanks to those standing out at races anywhere yesterday to marshall, and especially to ours in the Forest. :-)
It was soft underfoot to say the least, and we were running through newly formed streams after the weather over the past 48 hours, but it was still lovely, scenic and friendly. We had a ball, and some of my friends absolutely blasted their pbs. Maybe they wanted to get in out of the mud and rain, but it's not billed as a pb race. Don't let that put you off.

And...

What fantastic loos!!!
