In short: Hard to beat for friendliness and value, terrific event!
In full: This was my 2nd TW Half, it's an hours drive for us - which says a lot really. I ran it last year as a VLM warm up, but was so impressed with the organsation and support I had to do it again. One of the many pluses is that I can bring the whole family along and the kids can go into the creche for an hour or two. Simply a superb race, I didn't find Spring Hill tough at all, but I train on on hills all the time. If you put the hill training in prior you'll enjoy the race that much more! Superb.

In short: Brilliant weather, superbly organised + Kelly Holmes & Liz Yelling to boot!
In full: What an absolutely fantastic race. Weather was perfect, the "undulations" were challenging, crowds, drum bands and marshalls really uplifting. The whole thing was fantastic, and having Dame Kelly place the medal round my neck the absolute icing on the cake!

In short: Very well organised, friendly and inspiring but hilly!!!
In full: Greta organisation, well run all around with great support from volunteers, marshalls, other runners and spectators - some great additions of bands and finish line announcer was brilliant.

Would thoroughly recommend the event but maybe not a first time event as Spring Hill is something special with about 2 miles of steady uphill punctuated with 3 lethal inclines which take it out of the legs

In short: A wonderful event that I shall be signing up for next year too, slick organisation and great support!
In full: It was my second consecutive year running this race, the weather was far better than 2010 and the atmosphere was electric as always! The event runs like a well tuned machine from the "bag man" to the pacers (especially the 2hr pacers :)) Every runner of all abilities are welcomed and encouraged by the other participants and supporters too.... Just enter it and you wont be disappointed!!!

In full: Hey will everyone stops saying how brilliant this race is. Will soon have to sign up to it more than a year in advance it will be so popular! Seriously though a brilliant race. Do not miss it! It is like a carnival atmoshere but with effort from yourself. Like to say the route is very good. My garmin gps actually showed you have slightly more decent than accent overall. Which means you go down more than you go up. Remember that when you reach spring hill. This was my first half as part of full marathon in April. I hope the main goal event is as good as this was. Still on a high several days after the event.

In short: Great race- slick organisation, loads of marshal's, loads of spectators, great atmosphere and a great course. What more could you ask for?
In full: My first 1/2M and my first mass participation event. What an event to start with! Very well organised, great atmosphere, good route. The Hill has acquired a certain reputation, but actually it's ok. Lots of friendly, encouraging marshal's along the way. Definitely be back next year.

In short: Another year, another awesome goody bag at the finish!!!
In full: Having run this for the last three years, my expectations were, once again, exceeded. VERY well organised; VERY good value for money. I'll definitely be back again next year.
