In short: Great scenery and route - well organized - fun to run In full: Will be back again next year - very well organized - nice to finish in the stadium and marshalls very supportive. Two big hills but the downhills more than made up for it. Date of review: March 9, 2008

In short: Good Race mostly flat or slightly undulating but with 2 Killer hills In full: Quite a few PB's for the 15 striders that did this. Good run, and the 497 motor bikes dpoing the egg run that made an impromptue detour due to an accident on the main road made about 2 miles in the middle alot more interesting ;) 18 minutes off my PB, if it wasnt for the 2 hills I would have got a Sub 2 hour :) Well done Grantham Athelics :)

In short: Very friendly, well organised, hills positioned to kill you off. In full: I could have done without the petrol fumes of a thousand motorbikes on the first hill but they were all out on a mission for underpriveleged kids so no complaints. By 'eck I hurt! Date of review: March 9, 2008

In short: Excellent race, though a bit challenging for me this year! In full: Lovely route, fairly small numbers which meant a quick start and amazing weather - bearing in mind what was forecast a bit of wind wasn't too bad. Horrible hills though - first time ever I've walked - and I walked twice! But then I've not being training so hard recently.
And I thought the motorbikes were great - gave me something to look at on the long straight - the riders were very friendly and no threat at all. And several Viragos there so has to be a good thing!
I'll be back and will try harder next year. Great race. Date of review: March 9, 2008

In short: Great race. No grumbles what so ever. In full: A lovely scenic race. Pleased I chose this over Silverstone. The hills were challenging but there are worse hills in other races. Great organisation. Well marshalled with 4 welome water stops. Mile markers spot on. Shame its not supported by more people. I will certainly spread the word. Date of review: March 9, 2008
