In short: Excellent event again. Improves every year.
In full: I always run the first half of this too quickly - but today I was on a PB at 7 miles, then the hills came!
Hung on for my quickest time for 2 years.
Every year they give away a T-shirt with the medal, this year it was a bag and water bottle too!

In short: Well organised, very enjoyable race, excellent goody bag
In full: I had never done this race before although it is a local one for me but will definitely be back. I really liked the fact that it was nearly all on footpaths through the town with just enough hills to make it interesting. It also helped that the weather was perfect.

In short: Great race, makes a change from pounding long boring roads.
In full: Well organised and excellent value for money. A great event, will definately do it again. Marshalls very friendly and encouraging, sponges very well received. Many other half marathon event organisers could learn from this one.

In short: Fantastic organisation - can't fault it!
In full: A lot of effort must have gone into making sure everything ran like clockwork: loos, refreshments, marshalls, water stations, start and finish. Other races could learn a lot from this one!
