In short: Nice day out by the canal!
In full: A race with a difference. Great to be off the roads, away from nasty hills, and enjoy the tranquil Grand Union Canal. Very well marshalled, and coach link, bag drop went like clock-work. Some portaloos in the park would have eased congestion for the toilets.

In short: Well done Chris and Claire for organising a lovely canalside run
In full: A few niggles in the organisation which have been covered in the previous reviews. But all in all, it was great. Beautiful autumn weather and scenery. Small numbers, so nice relaxed atmosphere. Shame all the locks were 'up' not 'down', so let's go down next year! Just need to work out why I took longer than I hoped.

In short: A great half marathon with potential for a good time. The uneven terrain made for a more challenging race than expected
In full: Number one grumble was the lack of toilets. Thankfully managed to find the pub one prior to the start, however the location of this wasn't defined on PP instructions which laid added pressure on runners before the race. A huge shame that some selfish people took it upon themselves to steal the water provided at the 3 mile mark but other than that a good friendly event.

In short: Something a little different.
In full: Something a little different from the usual road based courses and well organised throughout (toilets excepted). Not sure the terrain is suitable for "Tanks"..... knees and hips feel more trashed today than after FLM....but nonetheless might well be tempted to try the "downhill" route next year! :-)
