In short: Fantastic race, my first half Marathon ever, a bit of a baptisement of fire but enjoyed every second! Should hopefully ease me into VLM which should seem easy do to the lack of gradients to climb

In short: Most fun you can have in running shorts
In full: My first race in 10 years and I loved every minute. It's a tough course and you need to be careful - I properly stacked it on a fast downhill section - but the scenery, atmosphere and satisfaction of completing this course made losing my toenails all worthwhile.

In short: A tough but very scenic course, made easier by the marshalls encouragement.
In full: The weather was glorious and the view from Leith Hill was fantastic. Really enjoyed the run despite the hills. Last 1 mile is a killer

In short: just a fantastic day. Beautiful scenery, a challenging run and brilliantly organised.
In full: this event just keeps getting better. the scenery is magnificent and there is some wonderful running all the way. Bits of it are fairly lung busting but you have a great sense of achievement when you finish. the event is kept to a sensible size and the organisation is first rate, including a great full English breakfast on your return

In short: Rob's advice, leave something in the tank for the last lumpy bit, is spot on.
