In short: For a first Marathon Edinburgh was quite a challenge but being the Athens of the North what do you expect. Fantastic scenery and plenty of cheering crowds kept you going when things got tough in the last few miles.

In short: A good mixed course, but they change it every year to avoid the hills in Edinburgh!! Organisation of the start could be better, but the start gun made up for it and the rest of the organisation was fine. Some of the route was a bit tame.

In short: For an inaugural race, it was a superb achievement, a really impressive addition to edinburgh's world class cultural calendar.

In short: Great race in a beautiful city. Very well organised from start to finish Only 2500 runners so no overcrowding but this race deserves to get much bigger. A good race for a club weekend away, thank you Easy Jet !.
