In short: First timer and it was amazing!!! Cried at the end as I was so chuffed to have made it after severe leg cramps at 23 miles!! Thank you to a hero in yellow for handing me a gel that got me to the finish line! ! Great support and fab atmosphere.

In short: just how a race/event should be i loved it
In full: i have only entered one race before (the oulton park half marathon ).the difference was amazing this race was organised and the other was thrown together or so it seemed. the marshalls and the support from the general public was absolutely amazing ,especially considering the weather conditions .the runners too as friendly as you like i was there on my own but never felt lonely a. it was also my first marathon again the support and friendlyness of everyone made the transformation to a marathon runner easy ,this race has to be one of my greatest life experiences .. i am definitely back next year

In short: good fun run
In full: Yesterday was my first ever marathon and it was a really great experience. The weather was pretty rough with rain and strong winds, but at mile 23 I was pretty glad of the gale as it actually blew me up the hill, and that's not a joke.Chatted to a few other runners before and during the run and everyone was cool, very freindly. The scenery was very impressive even though you couldn't see all of it because of the weather but on a clear day it must be incredible.
As for the run itself, having read all the reviews from previous years, I had worked myself into a frenzy of fear and doubt, but I found that it wasn't too bad. I would recommend this to other first timers as long as you have prepared with a bit of hill work.
There were lots of water stops along the way which I really appreciated - Thanks, and also quite a lot of supporters along the route which was quite impressive given the weather.
The only slightly dodgy part of the day was the bus to the start point from llanberis, I had about a 40 minute wait in the pouring rain and got soaked, but it wasn't the end of the world, but maybe they should put another bus or two on for next year.
Thanks to everyone for making my first one a great one, shame I didn't get the podium place I wanted, but I'll probably get it next year (as long as I can shave 2hrs off my time!)

In short: Very difficult, but thoroughly rewarding
In full: Despite probably being the most difficult race I have done, I enjoyed every moment. Long, steep, hard uphills and downhills, tricky conditions, great fun. Appreciated my Tyvek forensic suit while waiting an hour for the race start in the wind and rain. Really feel like I achieved something. All other races will be compared against this one.

In short: glorious place, fabulous marshalls, great support.
In full: thanks Snowdonia, I was in two minds about coming back after last year, but so glad I did!
Shame about the lack of electricity and therefore the lack of tea at the end ...
A huge thank you to all the marshalls and supporters who stood in the rain and fed us chocolate .. and then claimed we were the crazy ones!!
