In short: Well done Mike!! Another fantastic event!!
In full: Putting my 'bad' race aside, this was brilliant. New course is 'testing' to say the least, which isnt a bad thing and the start at the Castle was fab! Roll on next year!

In short: Excellent changes to the course - much more enjoyable
In full: The change of the course resulted in a much more enjoyable, albeit more 'challenging' (as in harder)race. The organisation was great - all the marshalls and the volunteers were extremely encouraging and friendly. There were lots more spectators throughout the course which really added to the fun and spurred me on. I will definitely do this race again next year - but if poss, please plan it on a different day to the Jedburgh marathon because I'd like to do them both - as I'm sure a lot of prople would - good half marathons easy to reach from the North East are few and far between Many thanks to all concerned in the organisation - well done.

In short: Must do this next year
In full: Absolutely brilliant. Marshalls fantastic and supportive and course great. Could not fault this race. A definite yes for next year and thats mainly due to all the people involved and the spectators.

In short: Great venure for first ever 1/2 marathon
In full: My first ever run, so I have no frame of reference but... A lack of toilets at the start, followed by uphill to mile six wasn't a good start but the excellent stewards and good crowds get you through it. After that it was great - really well organised and very enjoyable - would deffo do it again.
