In short: Too many hills for my liking, but still a nice race.

In short: Hellish Hills and Heat but Great Fun!
In full: Well that hurt. Bracknell is made of hills I knew nothing about! - Great work by Bracknell on the water stations, I would have seriously not finished if it weren't for the sponges, I was overheating after about 5km - Evil evil bloody hills, hit a wall at about 7 miles that I've never hit before, but managed to knock it off, along with the stitch it came with.

Lots of clapping and high fives along the route really made me smile, and 2 jelly babies helped too!, and a great finish with the crowds, I was really pleased to record a sub 1.50 time with the hot conditions, I've now got a lovely sunburn except for where my Garmin (which was playing up as ever) and my ipod was.

I'll be back!

As an aside, I was a little wary about leaving my bag unprotected in the tent, but it's only a small quibble.

Love the goodies for the money!

In short: BRACKNELL? CRACKING GREAT VALUE HALF? WELL YES!!
In full: Exceptionally well organised event both pre and during race. Route asks a few questions with a long uphill drags, underpasses, cycle paths, housing estates,an industrial area,a short scenic section on a track by a stream and at the end a couple of hundred yards through a wood before finishing on a green. But believe me, halfs don't come at better value than this, ample water stops and sponges, plenty of encouraging marshalls, great atmosphere during the race,a supportive public, a T and a decent goody bag to rummage through while waiting the few minutes after finishing before results are posted up. Yes, you leave knowing the results!! Well done Quintilles, Bracknell Forest and especially Chris and his team.

In short: Good organisation, good atmosphere- bad hills...
In full: Excellent race. I'll be back next year hopefully without the excess weight that I'm carrying at the moment.

In short: A fine event
In full: A surprisingly green and wooded course, apart from a few pavement sections. No huge inclines but as ever, over 13 and a bit miles you're going to have some inclines. But as it's a circular route what goes up comes back down. Excellent organization and an amazing goody bag with medal and T-shirt and other things for one of the smallest entry fees around. Also an excellent start and finish venue. It was a hot day, so I certainly appreciated the abundance of water and sponge stations. Definitely one of the best events around.

In short: Well organised, friendly race
In full: Wow! Heat and protracted inclines made this a fairly challenging race. My knee went at mile 4 so most of the race was a battle to finish.
I thought that the organsiation was fantastic, the route managed to make the most of what Bracknell has to offer, and the small groups of supporters and marshalls really helped to keep the runners going.

In short: Extremely well organised and enjoyable event
In full: Lots of positives about this race and I will certainly be back again. First class organisation, great venue with plentiful parking and toilets nearby. Mostly traffic free along the cycle paths of Bracknell. A challenging incline at 6 miles rules out any PB attempt for me. I would recommend this race to experienced runners and novices.

In short: Once again great organisation and fantastic local support
In full: I swear that big hill wasn't there last year! I really enjoyed this race even though I was a bit slow this time. The organisers are fantastic and the goody bag was great. No complaints at all - big thank you to all the volunteer marshalls and people at the drinks stations you are really appreciated
