In short: Well organised and very enjoyable event. Bit hard on the ankles at times but beautiful day and nice scenery combined with friendly runners, marshalls and organisers made for an excellent experience.

In short: Stunning scenery, PB potential but a bit rocky and crowded on the tow path and no directions from London
In full: Stunning scenery and nice community feel being such a small race. Some of the organisation could be improved though, there were no directions for those driving from London and the map didnt pinpoint the roads to take or the actual finish point / car park so we drove around for 1/2 hour trying to find it. The water at the first station was stolen apparently so we didnt get refreshment until mile 6 to 7 which made it quite thirsty work. And although the scenery was beautiful, as it was a tow path you could barely fit 2 runners to the track which made it slow going at certain points. Aside from that, I think I did a PB so shouldnt complain too much!

In short: A good scenic race with a good mix of runners and not too hectic for my first half marathon
In full: down points: nightmare of one toilet in the esso station at the beginning. the queue was round the shop! water only at the half way point and again around 9 miles.

In short: Very friendly and well organised.
In full: It was very touching that the organisers made efforts to call out runners' names. The marshalls were plentiful and very pleasant.
Running along the canal can be tricky with the surface uneven and slippery in places. It's also a bit boring after a while.

In short: Very interesting course - nice to run in a straight line
In full: This was my first race for over 20 years but enjoyed it more than expected. Nice small race with a good atmosphere. Could have done with some toilets at start though.

In short: Good organisation with buses / baggage lorries and easy to marshall course. Well Done.
In full: Lovely course, if a little boring after a while. Good medal, and well organised. Toilets at the start would have been good. No real grumbles. Nice race.
