In short: Took 5 mins to cross the line, and then to achieve a reasonable time had to spend most of the race barging by people. I hate having to be aggressive in such a fund raising event, I am sure fun runners don't appreciate being barged past either!

In short: Queues for the portaloos were dreadful and small t-shirt packs were already all gone by the time I finished, but otherwise a great atmosphere, very friendly!

In short: The Great North Run 2003 was my first ever race and I loved every minute of it. Even if that is the only race i enter every year, it will make me happy!!!!!
