In short: Great course, shame about the start In full: Very good course, 1st 10 milers I've ever done but well worth it. Came in below the time we were aiming for which is good. The start was a bit congested and the 2 false starts didn't help (what happened there?) Toilet facilities OK but had to wait a while to get into them when there were others toilets available that hadn't been sign posted.
Other than that a very good run out and now we are thinking of moving up to half marathon for the May event. Date of review: January 31, 2005
In short: Very congested start spoilt it for me. In full: The start was a joke, it took over 2 miles before there was space to run at normal pace. Also why was the finished located at the narrowest part of the road? It is fine for the marshalls to keep shouting to keep moving but there was nowhere to go. One race I won't be rushing back to. In short: I travelled from Croydon for this race and it was well worth it challenging at times but overall a good race through pleasant countryside would definitely do it again. Date of review: January 30, 2005
In short: Semi rural 1- miler with 2 hills - one a short sharp up, and one mile long drag In full: Course was good, and more rural than I expected..car park was full at 9.45am....well marshalled as usual. 2 hills of note, but quite flat otherwise Date of review: January 30, 2005
In short: one of the best 10s i've done In full: what a great race - well organised - testing in places - great atmosphere and managed to beat my pb by 7 mins - look forward to next year Date of review: January 30, 2005
