In short: a good outing - worth doing
In full: Great that Leeds saw sense and ran the race - I hope they continue to do so. It's a local race for me.

Generally well organised - good marshalling. A bit of struggle down the muddy path at the side of the ring-road. T-shirts ridiculously outsized!

In short: weather good, water stations seemed ok even for steadier runnerss (like me), plenty of support around the course. Undulating sums this course up, with the steady incline to the finish always a bit tough.

In short: Race with something for everyone
In full: Have been looking forward to this race for a few months and it didn't disappoint. The first half of the race is fairly challenging but it is downhill or flat all the way from 7 miles. Managed to eke out a PB by 7 seconds. Sorry to hear about the problems with water that some people encountered. My own experience was of very good organisation with plentiful and friendly marshalls. After the threat of cancellation earlier this year, hopefully the future of this race is now assured.

In short: Water Stations a let down.
In full: I totally agree with many people. There are ratings that could have been copied and paste into this year. Water stations were a total let down for someone who is a very steady runner - it is those at the back who need it most and I was forced to hang on to a bottle on kirkstall road in the heat worrying that other water stations had run out. The run down to horsforth woodside should have had the trees/bushes managed and path was a bit muddy in parts.
That said there is something about this race that I would return for - I got a PB! I'd like to find out if I can do it again.

In short: After all my protesting about its original cancellation, was compelled to try and get a PB as this was my third run, didn’t quite hit my target but enjoyed it all the same, well done to all the volunteers on the water stations and marshals. Good to s
