In short: Good atmosphere. Good PB potential
In full: Enjoyed this morning though not a PB but I expected that. Minor gripes. Tight start and I didn't see one KM or Mile markers. Still, I'll be be back next year. thanks to all who roganised it.

In short: Massive PB potential
In full: This was a great race for me as I managed a new PB and went under 40 mins for the first time, so I'm delighted. The course is pretty flat on decent wide roads once you get going.

I agree with other comments that the start area needs looking at as the 1st KM is by far the most congested. Great finish outside the Town Hall though. Orgainsation at the finish seemed much better than last year.

A local one for me so will be back for more next year.

In short: Flat and fast but the same cannot be said about the organisation...
In full: Although our race packs were highly informative about the race course and start place, standing in a crowd of people near the International Pool not quite sure if we were in the right place was not a great way to start a run. The tannoy system was inaudible and frankly annoying as noone could hear what was being said nor indeed when the run had begun! Overall though I enjoyed the run and particularly liked the bit around the abbey as it such a beautiful area. There was no clock at the start so it was difficult to pace myself without indication of time (will be investing in my own I think!) but the KM markers were a big help. Thanks for an interesting run Leeds and hope that we all raised loads of money for Help the Aged.

In short: Nice, flat course, great PB potential.
In full: The only downside i would say is the start. Slow runners too far forwards is a problem, perhaps a wider road to start on is in order. Other than this minor problem it was a very good experience (with a PB to make it even better!)

In short: Getting a bit crowded
In full: Good fast course however beginning to become a victim of its own success. Very congested at the start with the normal problems of people starting near the front who would be better suited further back. Maybe moving the start to one of the main roads would help things along

In short: Do this one every year - seemed much more congested this time round which hindered chances of a PB. Tip for next year get as close to the front as possible!

In short: If it wasn't a flat pb course, would anyone bother?
In full: The good points for this race are that it is flat and fast. Also, as my "home" 10K it is easy for me to get to.

However, now the bad points!

Why did they change the start from last year to a narrower road? Why did they change the finish so it was so chaotic? Please sort these things out - it is not difficult to do it well.

In short: PB race so i'm not complaining (too much)!
In full: This was a thoroughly enjoyable race, let down somewhat by the difficulties at the start. I couldn't find the time markers so just hung around the back which on this occasion didn't leave me stuck behind any walkers. Didn't see the water station at 5k but I was taking it too seriously at that point. The end was fantastic but what's with the hill coming up to the Headrow, that's just harsh! The medal was very disappointing and no goody bag!!
I'll be back next year and I will break 50 minutes this time.

In short: not one of the most scenic but a good run
In full: how is one expected to start where the officials would have liked us to when after going to the toilets the queue was still in the 35mins zone and i for one was unable to find my way through all the runners who were wanting to be stood there and the ones waiting to go to the loo's,
nice run it's getting more popular which is really good for " Help the Aged " which is why we run this race " isn't it?"

In short: You know what you get with this one.
In full: Good atmosphere on a chilly Yorkshire Sunday. Only gripe was with the post race arrngements in getting medal and water. Different set-up to finish which was frankly chaotic.
