In short: Definitely worth doing
In full: 2nd year of entry and things were even better than last year (which I thought was good)

Changing, bag drop off, goody bag and organisation at the start was all excellent.

Course was very good and the out and back again x 2laps format works really well and breaks the race down into really good manageable chunks.

Great support from the crowds too.

Well done Bath

In short: You really cannot complain! - great race
In full: I do wonder what some people expect. It was my first Bath Half and I've done a few. Well organised and definetly not hilly. Can't understand where people get that one from, A few short inclines and lots of speed long down hill stretches. Great support and loved the 3 piece Jazz rockers out in the sticks. No complaints.

In short: Excellent HM!
In full: Second time I've done this race. Really enjoyed the run, quite hilly in some parts. Was extremely cold to start and then got very warm, I opted to wear lots of clothing during the race and ended up regretting it at the tenth mile. Overall excellent atmosphere and enjoyable race.

In short: Great support
In full: Nice location, real bottle neck at the beginning and i got a number putting me in the last group despite putting 1hr 40 as expected time which meant weaving through walkers and people dressed as bananas. That aside, well marshalled, suberb support and a pretty flat course. Nice to see the elites run past as well.
Thoroughly enjoyable

In short: You even get to see the Kenyans coz they lap you at mile 4. Brilliant!
In full: Lovely day, great atmosphere, supportive crowds and marshals, and best of all you get to see the Kenyans sprint past you on their second lap. Worth coming just for that! This year I made it to mile 4 before being lapped - an improvement! Better organisation than in previous years (although I didn't use the park and ride this time)and a great goody bag - best one I've ever had (running magazine, museli bar, fruit bar, lots of freebies including blister packs, foot cream, body lotion AND a very welcome Mars bar, Yum!

In short: good day out
In full: I think the organisers come in for a bit of unfair stick here. Ok its not the most scenic route in the world, but if it was changed to other parts of bath it would be more hilly (probably not as practical from an organisation point of view) and people would moan it was too hilly.
The runners village was well organised, as was the whole event, the support along the way was awesome. The pens at the start of the race worked well.
All in all a good race will be back next year

In short: Good event
In full: Overall a good event, well marshalled and organised with some terrific support enroute - live bands, blarring stereos and great cheering. For me the only thing that let this event down was the route, it was dull - it was more of a case of running along boring roads than through the beautiful city of bath!!
