In short: There cannot be a more beautiful trail to run, and the long rolling down is well worth the initial climb. In full: The medal I could manage without - bring back the stew! - but the race was great. You can't beat that scenery, and the course was very well chosen, with a sustained but runnable climb at the start followed by a long rolling descent to the lakeside and a flat final third. Highly recommended. Date of review: September 18, 2005
