In short: Good flat race by the sea
In full: The course has recently changed and is much better, this year the start and finish had greatly improved. Good organisation and facilities. Despite the short rainstorm this was a great race and it was lovely to run the last couple of miles along the seafront with a Samba band playing. I hope the band comes back next year. The only negative about the race this year is that due to the weather a part of the airfield was flooded and you were directed to run though it, which was not nice as the water was deep and very cold.

In short: Flat, Great atmosphere, and good value race with definate PB potential
In full: Well worth the trip down. A good atmosphere, plenty of encouragement from marshalls and spectators alike, and a band playing at 10miles.
Definately PB potential being pancake flat for the most, although open to strong winds and the "sheep dip" feature on the airfield, navigated twice, but to be fair the weather was terrible the day before!!
Course is a little twisty in places and 1 section run twice, but is a nice touch seeing quicker runners coming the other way early on and slower runners later. A chance to high5 any clubmates you might see.
Goody bag was well stocked with food goodies, and my favourite "the medal".
My only real gripe would be a race this size would benefit from chip timing, so everyone can have their real race time, rather than just the few dozen who get to stand on the startline.
Overall a well done to the organisers.

In short: Cracking Day
In full: Great organisation, fantastic support from the marshalls and helpers (Really encouraged people to keep going and what a great job already achieved), as well as knocking 10 mins off my PB a great race. Only issue was the silly council parking machines that didn't work!

In short: A well organised flat pure speed HM
In full: Huge improvements on the start and finsh positions from last year and I enjoyed the run along the sea front promenade. Marshalls were excellent and really encouraging to all.
I thought HellRunner was being further north when I had to run through that "lake" in the airfield not just once but twice. My feet were like ice afterwards.
Perfect course and conditions for getting a PB which I achieved so all in all a happy runner.

In full: My first half marathon. It was good a flat. Could have done without the downpour and the huge puddle to run through, twice! Only bad thing was the lack of marshalls in some parts of the course.

In short: Well organised and flat
In full: Well organised, easy parking nice goody bag and also got lucky with the weather. The organisers can't be blamed for the lake on the airfield - boy was that water cold!

In short: Briliant, great value & well organised event
In full: Race organisers (Gosport Road Runners), did a fantastic job & should be very proud of themselves....especially with the very generous goody bag.

In short: Smashing day out!
In full: Thanks marshalls, you were excellent and very welcoming.
Great goodie bag and the cake was just what I needed.
The route is a good combination of urban, scenic sea front and military bases - probably unique in that respect. :)
Yet again the weather was great on the whole, apart from the savage downpour 7 miles in which only made me go faster so I'm not complaining.
Good support along the promenade and well-attended at the finish line.
One of my favourite races.
