In short: lovely views, very well organised...
In full: Grassy, bumpy, a bit muddy, quite hilly, and with some lovely views all around. The event seemed well organised, the marshalls were friendly and encouraging. And the results were published on the same day!

In short: beautiful scenery and check out those deer!
In full: quite a tough littl course - hardly any flat stretches at all. Lovely day for it thoug - very well marshelled - the guy screaming "Only 3 K's to go" - just after the 6K mark made me giggle a bit!
When the herd of deer sprinted and leaped across the path almost directly in front of me after about 3/4 of a kilometer, it was absolutely amazing - what incredible creatures!
I ran rubbish - not getting hammered 36hrs before a race again!
Well done the winner - terrible shorts though!!!

In short: hilly but well organised with deer and a horse
In full: this should have been advertised as a run that was more xc. i would have bought the right shoes then. as a non-sevenoaker i thought it would be more of a road race, however i was taken in by the beautiful scenery and friendly welcome from the rotary organisers. the first 1.8k was strictly uphill, with the incline getting tougher up to the summit, however on the 2nd lap, this was easier as you knew what was coming. no way a pb potential for a 10k unless u r a mentalist. if u can cope with deer running across the track and the occasional horse....do it. see u next year

In short: Hilly it certainly is. A long uphill start followed by a killer very sharp hill. And you have to do it twice!
