In short: Good atmostphere - good organisers (i got lost but some minutes but it was my fault) In full: I enjoyed the race very much but I am n ot used to hilly races - as clearly proven my inadequate running shoes- so I did not know what pace to set. I was delighted to win . Hope to come next year and break 1.20 if i dont go the wrong way again thanks to the organisers Date of review: March 8, 2010

In short: What a great race, tough but fair! In full: Who could ask for more - sunshine, stunning views, not too much mud, a few hills to challenge and a great goodie bag at the end!! The cooked breakfast is a nice touch and keeps people together rather than everyone jumping in cars and disappearing.
Well done to all involved, keep up the good work. See you next year.
P.S. Get there in time to watch the wife carrying, it's fantastic!! Date of review: March 8, 2010

In short: One of the best runs out there In full: Obviously organised by a runner with passion - collect number on day no problem, tea and coffee provided post race, and race on time, nice start at 11am too, why always earlier? Perfect post race goodies, t-shirt that fits, carrot!, medal, paper-weight and also a free English breakfast - some people seemed to miss it as were getting into cars and I was one of the 5 first people in there, certainly a race to do again. In short: A great race. It's hard but there aren't that many sections where I have to walk (unlike say the Knacker Cracker), which is ideal. In full: It's overwhelmingly uphill on the way there and downhill on the way back but there are pockets of the opposite gradient. The climb up to the temple at the end is really really tough. The organisation was good with plenty of food/water stations. There weren't many marshalls but the course was clearly marked thoughout. Finally the goodie bag and breakfast were nice extras and I got a baseball cap thrown in by Dr Robert as well. I'll be back next year for certain. Date of review: March 7, 2010
