In short: Lovely scenery and really wonderful marshalls
In full: Well-organised with the most encouraging marshalls ever and fantastic African drumming to get you up the short uphill bit. Nice and flat mostly, to work on your P/b, but single-file gates at the beginning caused bottle necks. I loved having my name announced as I came to the finish- it was what I needed to give me that extra push of speed. Don't forget to get sponsors and raise money for this great charity (AMREF)

In short: Agree with all else said before!
In full: Not sure how someone didn't think it was great value for money! Great T shirt, medal, fantastic venue with hot showers if you wanted, superb marshals etc etc

In short: A Beautiful Run
In full: To date, the nicest scenery i have run in a race.
Great run, quite challenging with the bridges, river gates, uneven ground, but a good test for leg strength. A little harder than your usual road Half Marathon but I loved it.

In short: Beautiful course along the canal with plenty to see to keep your attention away from your aching muscles!
In full: I thought this was a beautiful course. The scenery along the canal was very uplifting and I felt really lucky to be one of the 500! A nice flat run deffinately helped me to enjoy this rather than endure it! Especially as it was mothers day - Loved it! And a big thanks to the brilliant marshalls and the fantastic drummers at the pub (and the jelly bean provider!!)

In short: Well organised, lovely surroundings, and made a first timer like me very content.
In full: The atmosphere is comfortably relaxed. Well organised parking, easy access loos (thanks to the sports centre).

The run was along easy paths with some gentle climbs at the turn-around point. The occasional bridge crossings tested my resolve on the way back but the incredibly enthusiastic marshals made the time pass more quickly and lifted the spirits when the body started to complain.

More training and next year's run should be another good memory. Thanks again to all involved.
