In short: Very well organised and a good, scenic course
In full: This was my first half marathon and I will definitely do it again next year. The course was undulating, with the first couple of miles being uphill, though that meant a nice downhill sprint finish. The scenery was very nice which made the whole experience much more enjoyable.

It was well organised and at £13 was excellent value for money. I did find it difficult to drink from a cup when running, and would be prepared to pay £1 or £2 extra to have a bottle instead.

In short: Well organised, scenic and mildly challenging!
In full: Excellent support at the start and finish in the town centre, with glorious Autumn scenery in between.
A very well organised race...in particular the collection of numbers before the start, about which I had my doubts, was seamless. Thanks to all those that helped out.
Yes it is a bit hilly, but hardly mountainous, and the wind added extra difficulty, but I can't blame the organisers for that.
An excellent race that I would have no hesitation recommending to others, and that I will look to do again next year.

In short: excellent!
In full: i did the leicester half a couple of weeks ago and the difference was light and day. Leicester was a pretty dull and uninspiring course with little to keep spectators amused. This was a beautiful course with a great atmosphere and some stalls and shops nearby for specatators. The course is tough, and the wind was howling, but i'll definitely be back.

In full: First Worksop and apart from the obvious burn very enjoyable. Hills not too onerous and a most welcome downhill stretch to finish which allowed a sprint under 1-50 knocking 3 mins off PB so made the pain in the killer mile 11-12 worth it. Very well organised and liked the countdown markers towards the end and the wide brimmed cups making drinking on the run easier (though still spilt!. Is a definite on next years schedule

In short: Very well organised half marathon with a much needed down hill last mile!
In full: first 3-4 miles was undulating, not big hills but certainly an effort as the inclines were fairly long sometimes. Long straight roads in the park were a positive upto 10 miles then became hard work as i got more tired! The wind made it even more of a challenge at certain points but thats out of anyones control! Was my 1st time and will do again, well marshalled and they were supportive and i liked the 800m, 600m, 400m and 200m countdown to the finish! Well done

In short: A lovely course with plenty to keep your interest.
In full: I`d say they were more inclines than hills so they shouldn`t really slow you up too much. The section in Clumber Park is particularly nice and , before you know it, you`re back in Town for a well-suppported finish. An excellent Autumn race and we got lucky with the weather!

In short: Great scenary and challenging course.
In full: The first 4-5 miles are quite hilly, before becoming more flat / undulating.

In short: Great race - lack of supporters made up by autumnal colour.
In full: My first Worksop Half and really enjoyed it. Running on the roads, traffic free was nice and then into Clumber Park was very picturesque. The leaves and twigs falling from the trees in the wind made it a bit more challenging, but lovely running most of the way through the park. The first 4 miles are the hilliest, but not all hills, so not too bad, then the incline into the wind after 11 was tough, but nice to turn and run downhill back into the town to the finish. Extremely well organised race all round, from start to finish. Big thank you to Worksop Harriers, see you next year.
