In short: It's taken me longer to clean my kit than run the run...
In full: Fast access bag storage, short loo waits, pre-race hot drinks & snacks available, and a nice warm sports hall to wait in. A great start. Then it's on to the Remembrance Day service, a great idea, with poppies available if you'd lost/forgotten yours. And we're off, and it's not long until we hit the mud! Don't be shy, get stuck in, literally, squishing, slipping & sliding about. This was my first Slog, & it was great fun. Very friendly, superb organisation, lovely hot showers at the end, plus bacon butties & steaming cups of tea at bargain prices. Loved the mud, loved the folk in fancy dress, all round fab. Put this one in the diary for next year, but don't delay - as you'd expect, this one fills up fast.

In short: If the mud doesn't get you the hill will!
In full: If you want one race a year when you can just go and have a laugh and want to leave the watch at home - this has to be it.

In short: I'd forgotten how much fun this race was. See you all next year.
In full: A great race, I am still discovering mud in places that i didn't know I had. I was told that it wasn't as muddy as the course I did 3 years ago. I don't think that this is the case. See you all next year. Graham
