In short: An epic adventure the weather couldn't spoil
In full: The best race of the year bar none.
Credit to supporters and volunteers who endured the harsh weather conditions to make this race well worth waiting months for and training 1000 miles for.
I am definitely coming back for more next year.
Thanks to all the organisers.

In short: Exhilarating! With weather and scenery like that , what chance of feeling tired?
In full: This was very special, the wind blew, the rain fell, or poured, but over 1,000 runners were out there, tackling that great challenge. Coming down, cross-country, to Llanberis was crazy - but adrenalin clearly protects knees...

In short: The Vietnam of marathons... if you weren't there, you just won't understand!
In full: A great effort by the volunteers and spectators - we're not worthy!

Shame the juice was so dilute - was it the rain? More isotonic might just have saved many such severe cramps at Waunfawr - or is that just to attract the spectators?

In short: More like Mordor than Pontypandy.
In full: My first marathon. One of the most surreal experiences i have ever had. A very special weekend. Although physically i felt ok, mentally ,looking back retrospectively, i was all over the place. I have given up trying to explain the weather conditions to anyone who wasn't there. Seeing the wind whip a guy in the air like a Karate sweep was like a hallucination.....
