In short: Nice race, pity you don't see more of the nicer parts of Bath
In full: Well organised if you're near the front - sounded like there we a fair few bottle necks at the start. The route was very clogged on the early miles.

Fantastic support all the way around. Loved the live bands and hi-fis blaring out of top floor windows - makes a real difference.

In short: Wish I had trained more!!
In full: have done this race several times as it's local. Despite all the problems of years gone by I still come back for more and enjoy it! Crowds are great and so supportive of everyone as are some of the runners who encourage people when they are struggling! next time I will not be talked into doing it however when I have not put in the training!!! Boy it was hard and got my slowest time!! but still enjoyed it...well the sun was shining!!!!

In short: Good Race Great Atmosphere
In full: This is my third time at this event and this is the first year i would say the organisation has taken a turn for the positive over previous years.

Only slight down full for this race is the ever increasing entry fee.

Another PB overall enjoyable race and organisation ran really smooth may long that continue.

In short: Loved this race and acheived a PB!
In full: Waiting for chip results but my Garmin says I completed a PB so I'm (very very) happy wth that. Fabulous atmosphere, crowds nearly made me cry at the end with their support! And a great warm up for London in 6 weeks with the amount of runners. My only critiscism is that people (quite alot of them) ignored the ipod ban, I nearly came a cropper when one woman couldn't hear me trying to get past her and then stopped dead in front of me to sort out her earphones! Besides that I would recommend this race for any level- and I do think good value for money.

In short: This was my first half marathon and only my second race. I really enjoyed it, the atmosphere and the spectators were immense. Only critisisms would be that iPods are banned which is a pain, the race programme said the route was flat (I'd disagree)

In short: fantastic support but freezing cold
In full: I was bit uncertain on this one as there were very large race numbers and some of the feedback in the event ratings was critical of the organisation. I felt it was very well organised.I used the bath race course park and ride and it was spot on. The course was fairly flat, with a mixture of scenic and semi industrial. The race start went well and despite the high numbers it settled into a good race. I have ran 21 half and full marathons and the crowd support at Bath was the best I have ever seen on a freezing cold day. Well done the people of bath. Super medal and goody bag.

In short: A vast improvement over 2008 and 2009
In full: This was my second Bath Half. Freezing temperatures. Crowded access to start line. No problems on the course, though. Just make sure you get in the right starting position. The run was excellent - despite seeing a mad runner in a mankini. (Where did he pin the bib?) A great charity event. Sadly under-rated by runners unable to fit in to the pre-2010 halfs.

In short: Put up with bad organisation 2 years on the trot. Gave it one last chance in 2009 then we all agreed (me and 4 regular running mates) that we would never do this again. Organised by idiots and tooooo many people running
