In short: Fantastic race as usual. Great fancy dress. Nice soup and cheese rolls at the end.
In full: The best way to start the new year. Great organisation and a tough but enjoyable course. It was good to go across the stepping stones this year. Thanks to the marshalls and to Dr Rob and family for organising the race.

In short: Thank you Dr Rob
In full: An excellent race. One of my favourites of the year. A particularly huge thank you to all of the marshals who turned out today. You were awesome, especially those who turned out in fancy dress. Mr Grim Reaper, I salute you :0)

In short: Great route, good atmosphere, and goodies are worth the pain
In full: The mixture of a very serious course with "loopy" (well "loopy" looking at least) runners made this race special.

In short: Best running event I have ever taken part in!
In full: Fantastic way to start the year. Amazing atmosphere, with most people in fancy dress (including thongs, knight of ni, landed gentry etc). Slowest runners start first and lot of people walking up the hills, so wasn't left behind, as I thought I might be.

Great post race goodies - proper winter running top with all competitors names on, fleecy hat, soup, sandwiches, carrots, beer.

Loads of free photos available, as well as professional ones.
