In short: Fantastic organisation and really enjoyable
In full: I have to agree, this was one of the friendliest and most well organised races I've taken part in. You really couldn't fault a thing, and as everyone has said the marshals were particularly great - their enthusiasm was very welcome! Beats many other half marathons around and the route was just glorious.

In short: Fantasic event - exceptionally well-organised and a beautifully scenic race-route
In full: This was a very well organised event which I think made the day - the facilities were great, the marshals were all very encouraging and it was an imaginative and varied race-route - fantastic!

In short: This is what all race organisations should strive for
In full: Hats off to the Marshals, they really wanted to be there and without exception every one cheered the runners along. Crowd deserve a clap as well as all runners were warmly received both at the start / finish and 5/8 mile marker at the pub. Nice touch to have the band playing there as you got a lift twice!

goody bag / frequency of water made for a great value run (some £12 cheeper than Reading where only £1 going to charity tut tut)

Many thanks to PP for organising. I'd love to know how much was raised for the charity?

In short: Superb organisation, great location, very worthy cause. Well done PP
In full: A great first race by PP this one. Organisation was superb. The route was glorious, along the Thames and back with great marshalls who really were the best I've seen at races. The band at the pub was a great touch. Also really nice to have the kids race while the HM was going on. My 3 kids loved that and even they got a T-shirt and medal the same as the HM runners. Made their day! Well done PP for a great run. Beautiful location.

In short: Fantastic race in a lovely location
In full: Great organisation and a perfect location for a race. The weather was a great help. I'm not sure the terrain would have been quite as much fun if the weather had not been so fantastic, but Bisham Abbey is a lovely location to start and end any race!
