In short: Amazing challenge for someone who has not dared to move past a half marathon!
In full: The start could have been a little better organised - I ended up in the wrong starting section!! It was a wonderful challenge as I have never ventured past the half marathon comfort. Now maybe I could go another step further to a full marathon!! The course was relatively flat, totally flat if you live in an area like mine! The locals came out and gave support which was really wonderful. I was running for Roy Castle's Lung Cancer Organisation and one lady thanked me for running for them. This brought a tear to my eye as I was running this on Mothers Day because I have recently lost my mum to Lung Cancer, this was my first Mother's Day without her and I wanted to honour her in a different way. SO that lady made my day.

Finish line was a bit sad because the spectators could not really get to you to cheer, but the ones that did were great.

The water stations were well staffed and all lovely and welcoming. Thanks to the you cadets for also giving their support.

Wonderful race that I will do again and again I hope.

In short: Great day, well supported around course, excellent marshalling, tad tight through woods but on the whole v good.
