In short: Very tough - but excellent!!
In full: Excellent organisation,atmosphere,marshalls,support,t-shirt etc etc. Toughest course I've done to date but that makes me feel all the more better about myself tonight. Everyone should do this at least once!

In short: Superb race - tough with plenty of hills and definitely not PB but everyone should do this one. Worth the 500mile round trip from Scotland!!!

In short: Undulating tough half
In full: Urinals at the community centre very amusing (piece of gutting with wooden splash back covered with polythene ) slanted to run off into outside drain.
Tough race but enjoyable in a sick sort of way.

In short: A cracker of a race but I'll ache for days!
In full: Tougher than I remember last year. The long haul at around 9 miles was gruelling. But it's my fault for starting too far up the field! Just grateful there was no Hill From Hell! The setting of the race is fantastically varied, the organisation is great, the atmosphere uplifting and a free long sleeved tee shirt to boot! Definately be back next year

In short: Get organised and DO THIS RACE!
In full: A grand time was had by all. When you know its hilly before it starts it kind of helps...well sort of! Great marshalls, good support in unexpected places, forget Stockholm, Edinburgh, Paphos, this is the race you should be doing each year.

In short: Hills from Hell, but the wonderful views made the pain worth it!
In full: This race was fantastic; a large enough field to create atmosphere, but small enough so that is felt 'local' and real. The organisation was brilliant, especially parking (considering the roadworks they had to deal with). The race itself was hard work, but the sense of achievement, and the views, made it worth it. Not sure about the cyclist at mile ten, who decided to interrogate me about what I was doing. I would've thought it was fairly obvious by that point!
