In short: No water
In full: No bottled water available from less than half way. You could queue for a cup of gatorade. very poor, very hot, potentially very dangerous

In short: Hard going but great fun!!!
In full: Well the first half of the run was good - I really enjoyed it but after the 7 miles, of dear...
1. Where was the time clock half way through? I had no idea how well I was doing....

2. On the last part of the Ring Road, the runners had to use a narrow path which was poor uneven and muddy.

3 There were no bottled water at the 2nd but last water station and the very last water station had nothing at all.It was warmer than expected so it was hard going for me without fluids - black mark to the orgainsers for that but in spite of that I managed a PB of 1hour 54 mins - 3 mins off last year - so am happy with that!!!

In short: Challenging but enjoyable. Excellent organisation
In full: Pleased to say this is my local race. Super organisation, good support round the course, particularly at the end. The route is challenging but most of the hills are in the first 7 miles. I think the council nearly cancelled this years race to support the Jane Tomlinson 10k, I am glad they didn't!

In short: Well organised Half Marathon
In full: Great race starting in the beautiful Millenium Square. Course is definitely undulating, can't remember too many flat bits. Good support around the course, plenty of water stations and marshalls. Nice T-shirt(though a bit generous sizewise) and medal. Well done Leeds.

In short: Well organised, challenging course, scenery a bit dul
In full: Great start/finish in Millenium Square giving good atmosphere and the runners waiting around the course for the relay event certainly did their bit and made an awful lot of noise.

The course was pretty challenging, but I did manage a PB. I found the worst bit though was the flat last 3 miles. I think the legs had grown used to the 3 miles of downhill towards Kirkstall Abbey and had a bit of a hissy fit when the downslope stopped. That mild incline into The Headrow at the end just about killed me!

The organisation seemed pretty slick to me. The T Shirts did seem a little bit too generously sized but the medal was magnificent.

A great local half but the scenery (barring the start and finish) would be a bit too plain for me to travel to. 3 guys from work ran it as their first half and loved it.

In short: A very good and challenging race, but they need to widen the course
In full: A good route but where the course singles down to a very narrow path it is very hard to get passed the people who should have started at the back. If they plan to keep the route they need to start a pen system.
Very nice medal, and great marshals/volunteers as always in Leeds. Thanks
