In short: Friendly run through autunm scenery
In full: Warm and sunny for an October race. Friendly atmosphere and gloroius autumn countryside. Strong wind caused nuts to fall from the trees, only one near miss. Lack of water at last drinks station is only complaint for a well organised race. Definitely one for next yaer.

In short: Excellent Event
In full: We were blessed with the weather, but what a lovely scenic route. Lots of good encouragement from marshalls and public. Got a fright on my pace split at mile 9 but turns out my GPS had that as a long one with mile 10 short. No problem though it I think it gave me the lift to go under my goal time.

In full: Great race, 1st half marathon. Can't really be called flat. Tends to be very small, sustained inclines either way. But if you're ready for a half, there's nothing here that should throw you. Great scenery and a great goody bag at the end. This year a coloured T shirt with 2 colour print and a list of runners names on the back. Pen, £5 voucher, cereal bar etc... not bad for an £11.50 race :-)

In full: Well organised, no big queues to register, easy parking, very good and friendly marshals. The route is excellent with glorious Autumn scenes through Clumber Park. A few hills but not too hard. This was my second Half and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely be back next year.
