In short: Favourite Race of ther year
In full: First time of doing this race and I will definately be back next year. Nice touch with the 2 minutes silence and the last post. Loads of mud and water some of it containing cow pats.Friendly marshalls and great organisation. My only one critisim is the wait for the stream/ditch. Almost 15 minute wait and if it had been raining would have been horrendous. Otherwise great goody bag and great race

In full: My first Slog and, despite the mess it's made of my kit and the fact it's going to take weeks to dry my shoes out, I will be back again. I'd been expecting the first two 'water features' (the bog and the sheep dip), but the pig trough (400 odd metres of flooded ditch with a crowd lining one side baying for us all to fall over) was an added, but exhausting bonus. Great organisation, excellent good bag and T shirt. Shame about the queue for the showers, but this was to be expected. At least they had showers, I supppose. Well done, Bitton. Now, back to trying to get the dirt out from between my toes.

In short: First time running this and it was a really fun race. Not for anyone who wants to remain dry and mud free. Will definitely be applying again next year.

In short: Thoroughly enjoyed this well organised race. Great atmosphere, particularly through the very wet and muddy parts!
