In short: one comment is that it was far too early in the morning, why so early?!

In short: Excellent all round as usual
In full: I found no trouble getting a decent start. But then I don't run around 45 mins for a 10k then slag off `walkers' like some on here. If you think you're fast enough, get to the front Wayne.

In short: Fast and flat, crap medal, too many slow ruuners (walkers) at front
In full: As said best thing is flat course, too many runners now for the start and finish, WHY oh WHY do walkers/slow runners insist on starting at the front, GET IN THE RIGHT PLACE ! Needs better overall organisation now numbers are so big, in danger of becoming a fun run only me thinks !

In short: Looking for a better start
In full: Starting in a narrow side road is challenging with the number of people setting off - especially when some 'runners' chose to walk just past the start line. Race itself is great. Finish again is chaotic if you're middle of the pack. And bearing in mind the time of year, a t-short at the end would have been more appreciated. Having said all that, I'd do it again.

In short: .
In full: 1 redeeming factor about the LAD is the fast course. For the cost the organisation should be much better, better controlled start, bigger signs and better funnel at the finish. Crap medal waste of time and money. Rather not have one so more money goes to old folk.

In short: Fast, friendly and well organised
In full: PB potential. The start could have been dangerous, the street was too narrow for the number of runners (further down on Wellington Street or one of the other wider streets would have been better). The medal was disappointing, it could have been for any running event in any city , if it had a picture of a Leeds landmark it would be a more fitting momento.

In short: Spontaneous Drink Hander Outter
In full: I agree with some of the comments made earlier - the side street start was a little too narrow for my liking - whilst the course itself was fine my biggest problems came at the end - trying to cram 4,000+ into a small area to pick up medals, drop off chips and get water was not particularly useful. I ended up standing at the side handing out water myself to help the few volunteers. But i'll be back next year, after all I did get a PB in my Silver Shadows !

In short: Definite PB course, massive field and closed roads
In full: Only slight moan was the number of people starting way too far forward - but the guy on the tannoy must have asked 20 times, so maybe the race just attracts a large number of idiots (or maybe people who think that being able to do programme no. 5 on the treadmill means they're guaranteed a 36 minute 10k) (or people who don't understand English).
