In short: Great race - well organised - great support - hard
In full: Thanks to all the marshalls, supporters and organisers who made this a memorable race in spite of the weather. Please don't change a thing.

In short: Will I be back????? The jury is still out
In full: I have never been so cold and wet, at least at that other marathon in the mountains they had their weatherproof gear on! The last three miles I could have cried I was so tired and cold but I got to the finish somehow, did this race in 2007 and loved it, this year I finished 1 minute slower. That hill at 21 miles really is a killer, I feel I might have to keep trying until I can run all the way to the top!!!(or not!)

In full: Never been so cold and wet in my life, but great scenery and atmosphere more than made up for it. Thanks to the kind people who gave me jelly babies at 18 miles, really kept me going.
