In short: The race that delivers everything and numerous small touches!
In full: Superbly marshalled all the way round, efficient start, great small touches (marshals keeping the toilet queue moving and checking the stocks of loo paper), being able to try on tshirts for size, Double Olympic medallist Dame Kelly Holmes giving out medals on the line, good bag drop system, text message received with finish time within 2 hours of finishing, good tshirt, friendly atmosphere and so much more.
Not an easy course but one to be recommended. Do this race to remind yourself just how much hard work by the organising team can make your day better!

In short: One word - A MAZ ING!!!
In full: Start a beginning - Kelly giving us all a wave at the start. Then off from our well organised and disciplined (and not crowded despite big field).
Then off into GLORIOUS Kent countryside. Yes it was undulating but that is fine. We knew in advance due to the excellent info on the website. Unlike other races (even marathons) EVERY water station yhad enough volunteers and also Jelly Babies. Crowds came from everywhere to cheer us, and road closures kept us safe.

At the finish I had my medal handed to me by Dame Kelly (brilliant - again) and then realised Id taken a chunk out of my pb!

This was even confirmed on website by 4pm on the day.

Will I be back? TOO RIGHT.

My 6th half and best in all respects.
Fantastic effort guys.

In full: My first ever half marathon - very well organised, very friendly and well run, superb scenery. Queue for the toilets was very long at the start but otherwise everything great.

In short: Challenging slopes but brilliantly organised, great atmosphere and value for money
In full: The logistics behind this event was impeccable and well guided. Atmosphere was terrific and the course was murderous! Well to be honest, there is one humungously tough slope to tackle but becasue this is a complete 1 lap circuit half marathon, this is balanced out with lots of downhill slopes too which one can make up for lost time to try still achieving your pb. The whole run is on tarmac roads (or pavement), no grassy routes at all. The route was very scenic and pleasantly villagy with locals cheering you on. Great vibe. Water stations were also well spaced out. Dame Kelly Holmes was there at the finishing line putting medels areound our necks which was an awesome touch. All runners were given a free technical T shirt which was excellent quality and looks great, seems to be worth the entrance fee alone! The rest of the goody bag was decent, the usual energy gel stuff, two running magazines, fruits and drinks.

Thoroughly recommend this to all (including adventurous beginners).

In short: A brilliant race, well organised with fantastic marshalls
In full: My first time at Tunbridge Wells and was aprehensive about the hill I had heard all about -it totally lived up to expectations! but with every up there is a down and this meant I finished within my target time. Great to get my medal from Dame Kelly. Goody bag, medal and t-shirt excellent. Thanks to all the marshalls and supporters.

In short: lovely route and a real test for most runners
In full: A really nice undulating route with outstanding organisation. Without doubt the best goodie bag I have ever received too. Not the ideal half if you want a PB but then it's rather nice not to think about all that and just enjoy running. Definitely doing it again.
