In short: Fantastic scenery and superb organisation
In full: Having done the relay last year, I decided to tackle the half this time.
Good move. I loved the course, great scenery, with some challenging climbs, friendly marshals and supporters on the route and a nice atmosphere at the finish.
I'll be back for more!

In short: Great race as ever, with a couple of small hiccups
In full: Great organisation overall, well marshalled and a good course. The five minute bottleneck behind the half marathon at the stile around 17 miles wasn't much appreciated though.

In short: Great race again, great organisation. Many thanks.
In full: Great race again, great organisation. Many thanks. Race marshalls were all most helpful and the day was ideal. Only small comment was that the queue for the medals was a bit of a pain - but worth it for a fine medal.

Many thanks

In short: Tough hills, but very, very worth it!
In full: Who cares about PBs anyway? What with the narrow footpaths, hills, and waiting 5 minutes to get over the stile, I added 15 minutes to my normal half marathon time, but everyone was cheery and the scenery was lovely, so it didn't matter. Well organised, except for the wait at the end for medals or tee shirts/bags which seemed a bit unnecessary - perhaps it would speed things up next year if there wasn't a pre-selected choice, but a medal or tee was given out in a goody-bag at the finish? Loved the party atmosphere at the end, thanks to the young band! Would definately do it next year (maybe even the full marathon as I did the half this year for the first time.)

In short: Tougher than I thought it was going to be!
In full: I did the half marathon this year. No wonder I found it tough - my garmin had a net climb from start to finish of about 300ft!
I got the bus to the start despite not having prebooked so I was glad of that.
Tough half marathon - difficult hills although I managed not to succumb to walking :) Great local race.

In short: Hard but fun
In full: As long as you enjoy hills you'll love Clarendon. Well organised, buses to the start and well organised bag collection at the end.

Thanks to the organisers, good fun in a painful kind of a way!

In short: Love this race - it's always fun
In full: This year's ending was a bit disappointing - having to trundle through waste deep rainwater at an underpass - sure Salisbury council could have pumped it out??

Other then that (and sliding face down in the mud at Mile 6) - it;s an excellent race. It's friedly, quirky and look forward to next year.

In short: A memorable day out !!!!!!!!
In full: Firstly a huge thankyou to the organisers, marshalls and helpers for their efforts and cheerfulness on such a filthy day. At least we runners had a choice to not turn up on the day ! We often take them for granted and forget how much we would miss them were they not there.
A very challenging course which I am sure would have beautiful views on a fine weather day. Unfortunately it wasn't !
Nontheless an excellently organised, well signposted race - thankyou.
