In short: Great race, honestly can't fault it
In full: Good mix of flat start/finish with a couple of "bumps" in the middle. Course was a tad muddy but it's not a cross country race if you don't come home with mud all up your legs!
After becoming increasingly disillusioned with the Bristol Half Marathon, this is just the kind of race that I love - friendly atmosphere, great organisation, interesting course and free beer! Same time, same place next year.

In short: A lovely rural run with a few hills and some mud chucked in.
In full: Well organised and only one criticiscm - the mile markers seemed to me a bit out. Didn't spoil the run though.

In short: A fantastic race
In full: I cant add anything more than what has already been said. A fantastic race, I loved every inute of it. It is already on my calendar for next year and I cant wait. The mile markers were a little out as much as I like to think I am capable of a 6min mile!
Thanks for fantastic race!

In short: Tough first half marathon
In full: For my first half marathon this was a toughy although it was extremely enjoyable.. The organisation was first class and the signing in procedure was simple and effecient.
Loved the "God save the queen" rendition at the beginning and a nice flat start to the run over the first few miles.

As stated in previous reviews the marshalls were extremelly supportative and encouraging as it was much appreciated to those of us at the back!!!!

Will definately be doing it again next year (after i've done a few flatter ones)

In short: Excellent well organised multi-terrain run
In full: A really good inaugral race. Well organised and very good ethusiastic marshalling. Some nice hills but nothing too tough. A few muddy places but I found the uneven stone tracks much harder work. Energy drinks and jelly babies were definitely appreciated. I think some of those mile markers were a bit askew but it didn't matter. This is the first race I've been in where a chorus of God save the Queen was mandatory before the start! The can of Badger Beer was also a nice original touch at the end! May well be back for next years!
