In short: Great fun, well organised, and goodies too!
In full: So, how far was it? The official distance seemed to be quoted as 10-12 miles....quite a difference. No distance markers on the well-marked course, 2 very welcome water stations, lots of hills and mud, friendly marshalls, excellent fun course. Highly recommended.

In short: Fun, fun, fun - be ready to get dirty!
In full: What a fab race! Forget about time, just hoped to make it to the end. Very hilly, muddy, wet. I laughed so much at the first muddy bog, I lost so much energy. :) Thanks to the lads who helped me up at the mud trenches - I would have still been there. Goody bag - Fantastic - was going to finish just to get that.

In short: This is what running is all about!!
In full: This was a great race, good scenary, nice (almost) waist high bogs and some hills to go with it. It has been quite good weather for the last few days but the bogs were quite deep - just image if it rained!! Even more fun!! The goody bag was generous, worth the entry fee for that alone!! Salomon Tech T-shirt (with a choice of Black or White),a pair of 1000mile running socks, a shoes bag, a milk shake, 2 energy/hydration sachets and a granola bar. When's the next one??

In short: top race who said there might be know mud !!!
In full: what a race well done to all the marshalls loved it . People were saying that there might not be much mud WRONG .6 miles in and know way round wet soggy socks for the rest of the run. The Turbo X zone was great even though I took a nose dive in some of it can't wait to see the pics . kids loved whatching the chaps on the stunt bikes (told they to stay of my car!) great tech top after good shoe bag and socks thumbs up from me :-)
