In short: Very well organised race with some nice touches eg The Chariots of Fire music as we started. Hard hills.

In short: Good race, hilly although i think i'd heard so much about the hills from hell, that i was relieved that although steep it was over fairly quickly
In full: A good well organised and very friendly race - nice touch that they called our names out as we crossed the finnishing line.

In short: A bit like the curate's steak...tough in places!
In full: This race had a good feel and was a really good workout. Forget the PB's though, there are some pretty tough inclines!. Nice area to run but this was marred slightly by the traffic noise through some areas. They apologised for a detour through a park (due to roadworks) but this actually was a very pleasant diversion. The staff hung on in the cold, keeping the finish intact for the slow runners, an excellent practice which some organisers fail to do. Definitely worth the trip.

In short: Great event, that was well organised. Oh the hills! Forever going up or down never flat. Managed the hill from hell without stopping!

In short: Great race- appreciated it more the day after! Big thanks to all the marshals, full of encouragement, despite having to stand around in crappy weather. Will be back next year.

In short: Would definitely do it again - hill from hell not too bad - definitely agree with comments about innovative gents! Cold, foggy, wet day this year but worth the effort - I drove 240 miles to do it and would do so again. Many thanks.

In short: One word.... Fantastic!
In full: What a fantastic race!!! Can't fault any bit of it. The marshalling and organisation was great, and boy, this is one tough course - literally no flat bits. It's either up or down.... and most of the time it seemed to be up!
